About Us.
The Georgia Academy of Science, which promotes science education and research in the state, was organized in 1922 and incorporated as a nonprofit entity in 1953. The Academy publishes the Georgia Journal of Science and holds annual scientific meetings that emphasize the presentation of undergraduate and graduate research.
